Parent Education Classes

Birth & Postpartum Support Classes

We teach in a variety of settings on the east and west sides of Cleveland, Ohio: massage studios, health & wellness centers, Chiropractic offices and private in-home sessions. Our passion is educating, nurturing and empowering families.

If you work in a setting that works with infants, pregnant and/or postpartum moms, we would love to talk about teaching a class in your setting.

Childbirth Education Class:

Your birth starts with you, and your choices. Your Birth Experience is not a method of childbirth. It’s a system to help you discover your ideal birth and to give you the tools to accomplish it. Using the Your Birth Experience curriculum, you will be knowledgeable of what can happen during the various stages of labor, what your options are, and train you to be able to handle anything that comes your way. Your Birth Experience was created by an educator, using information and research from trusted experts in birth and medicine, including art therapy, sports psychology, personality trait research and relevant evidence-based information about modern childbirth options.

Postpartum Planning Workshop

Our culture spends quite a bit of time planning for pregnancy and birth, but not the postpartum period. What happens once baby arrives?

Postpartum planning ensures that you and your family have a plan as to how your needs and wants will be accomplished in the postpartum period.

Topics covered are: self-care/body changes, infant care & medical decisions, breastfeeding/bottle feeding, house management, pelvic health, postpartum depression, meal planning, alternative healing with herbs and aromatherapy and others! Class is approximately 1.5-2 hours.
