Olivia is a postpartum doula and she is trained through Birth Arts International. Along with being a certified postpartum doula, she also has a background in childcare and early childhood education.
Olivia was always interested in working with children, she just wasn’t sure which path to take. She began going to Cuyahoga Community College in Spring 2019 and was majoring in early childhood education and minoring in music. Her goal was to become a music teacher at an elementary school. After a year of going to school, she decided to take a break and work full time at a local daycare as an assistant toddler and infant teacher. She has also been a camp counselor at Weathervane Playhouse and through Berea City School District.
Olivia was first introduced to being a postpartum doula through her friend, Shannon. Once Olivia knew what being a postpartum doula entailed, she knew that this was finally her path to take.
Olivia’s goal is to guide and help her clients enter the new journey of parenthood smoothly. She will provide ample information as requested while also respecting each client’s birth choices, as well as nurturing care for the new addition to the family.
