Hi, my name is Lorene. I am married, a mother of three and a new grandmother. I would describe myself as family oriented. Family is important to me, and I am always excited to assist people with growing their family.
I graduated in 2002 with a BA in Psychology. I’ve worked in the Social Service field for 19 years. During these 19 years, I’ve also worked parttime as a personal fitness trainer, and an owner of an online store, but nothing has brought me the joy that the birth work brings.
Working as a birth doula is my passion. I love to experience the family’s happiness as they prepare and welcome their baby. I’ve been assisting families with their births off and on since 2003. When I became an empty nester in 2021, I decided to become more engaged in my doula work. Since then, I’ve been attending trainings, became certified as a birth doula, continued education courses, and remained up to date with evidence-based education. I’ve worked with high-risk pregnancies, VBAC’s, cesarean, medicated and unmedicated births.
To be a part of a family’s birth story is rewarding. I enjoy meeting new families and helping them prepare for birth. Your birth story will be memorable. I look forward to helping you on your journey.
